PSSSB Recruitment 2023 for Firemen Driver Operator posts, 10th and 8th pass can apply

The PSSSB Recruitment 2023 form must be submitted by February 28th at 5 p.m. Candidates can, however, pay the application fee online until March 3.

PSSSB Recruitment 2023: The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has begun the online application process for Group ‘C’ Fireman & Driver, Operator positions. Candidates can apply for these positions online at sssb.punjab.gov.in. The PSSSB Recruitment 2023 form must be submitted by February 28th at 5 p.m. Candidates can, however, pay the application fee online until March 3. Candidates who wish to apply for these positions should first read the recruitment information before proceeding with the application process.

About the posts

The PSSSB recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 1317 posts, out of which 326 posts are for Driver, Operator and 991 posts are for Fireman. The total number of posts is 1,317.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates applying for the post of Fireman must have passed class 10th (Matriculation) from any recognized institute. Driver, Operator candidates must have passed class 8th. Along with this, Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License (5 years old) should be there.

Application Fees

The application fee for general category candidates is Rs.1000, while for PWD category candidates the application fee is Rs.500 and for SC/ST/EWS category the application fee is Rs.250. The application fee for ex-servicemen and dependents is Rs 200.

Age limit

The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum age limit should be 37 years as on January 1, 2023.

PSSSB RECRUITMENT 2023: How to apply

Step 1- First of all visit the official website sssb.punjab.gov.in.

Step 2- Now click on the link ‘Group C fireman and driver/operator posts’ on the home page.

Step 3- As the new window opens, enter the login credentials and submit.

Step 4- Then fill the PSSSB registration form and fill the requested information.

Step 5- Submit the required documents.

Step 6- Now pay the application fee.

Step 7- After checking all the details, submit the form.

Step 8- You can take a printout of the form for future reference.
