A feature-rich mod for Warcraft 3 Reforged, Chronicles of the Second War functions as a single-player campaign that is essentially a Warcraft 2 Remaster. The Orc campaign, which has 17 objectives and loads of backstory for die-hard fans, comes with cinematics.

In addition, it has a reproduction of the original Warcraft 2 soundtrack, which is undoubtedly among the greatest of its time, with over 1500 lines of voice acting. Numerous well-known characters will make cameos in the campaign and return in gameplay.

As if that weren’t enough, the naval fight that really set the game apart in its own age was also restored, along with the Oil Resource. There will be challenging boss encounters for players to defeat that are modelled after World of Warcraft.

The Warcraft series is still going strong. In 2024, Blizzard fans will have a lot to look forward to, including fan-made projects like Chronicles of the Second War and the planned WorldSoul Saga for World of Warcraft.
