A few days later, Ganga Mata appeared to him in the form of an elderly woman and instructed him to travel to Mathura during the month of Navami in Kartik and fast by circling and worshipping the Amla tree. If this is maintained, Hansen’s illness can be treated.
With the merchant’s approval, she proceeded to Mathura and started her strict Amla fast after listening to the elderly woman. With the help of her God, she, therefore, became a heavenly form and gave birth to her Son.
