In addition to the explosion of veggie burgers, the field of meat imitators has also expanded, with options such as Impossible Burgers and Beyond Meat’s Beyond Burger Patty. Amy’s Kitchen, a vegetarian food company, created National Veggie Burger Day to encourage more people to sample the veggie burger and recognise its positive environmental impact.
