Britney Spears Allegedly ‘Backhanded’ by NBA Star Victor Wembanyama’s Security in Las Vegas Hotel

Britney Spears Allegedly ‘Backhanded’ by NBA Star Victor Wembanyama’s Security: Britney Spears claimed on social media that she was “backhanded” by a security officer for NBA player Victor Wembanyama.

This incident occurred in Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 5th, when Spears stated she wanted to meet Wembanyama, the celebrated new draught selection for the San Antonio Spurs.

Sam Asghari, the spouse of Britney Spears, criticised the security guard on Instagram. Asghari published a story on Thursday that has since been removed.

Britney Spears Allegedly ‘Backhanded’ by NBA Star Victor Wembanyama’s Security:

Asghari explained-

I cannot conceive of a scenario in which an unarmed female fan expressing excitement or appreciation for a celebrity would be physically assaulted, let alone struck in the face for tapping someone on the shoulder.

Wembanyama told reporters that “something did happen” as he was escorted by Spurs security to a restaurant. Below is an official tweet posted by CassidyHubbarth in which Wembanyama addresses the media.

He elaborated-

“We spoke with security beforehand and told them, ‘Don’t stop,’ because it would attract a crowd.”

“This individual grasped my back, not my shoulder. I am certain that security forced her away. I cannot say with what amount of power.”

He declared-

“It was revealed to be Britney Spears. I was unaware because I had never seen her face. I kept on strolling straight.”

Britney Spears denies pursuing Spurs star Victor Wembanyama in her post. According to Las Vegas police, officers responded to a residence in the 3700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard to investigate a battery. The incident, according to officials, occurred at the Catch Hotel, located at 3730 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

According to authorities, neither arrests nor reservations were made. Asghari attributed the incident to security personnel and criticised “a systemic culture of disregard for women within sports and entertainment.” He wrote that he anticipates necessary changes coming from the top.

Spears declared–

“I have not yet received an official apology from the player, his security, or their organisation. Neither do I appreciate nor consider this an amusing matter. Seeing the athlete smile and laugh in light of the circumstances was cruel and demoralising.”

“It’s important to share this story and urge those in the public eye to set an example and treat all people with respect.”
