A 22-year-old female trainee pilot Bhavika Rathod suffered injuries after a single-seater training plane crashed in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Monday, according to the police.

The plane had departed from the Baramati airport in Pune and belongs to Carver Flying, a private aviation school in Maharashtra’s Baramati.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed the incident saying, “On 25.07.2022, Carver Aviation Cessna 152 aircraft VT-ALI on a solo cross-country flight made a crash landing while 15 nm inbound to Baramati Airfield due to suspected power loss.”
