France and EU Take a Stand: Financial Aid to Niger Suspended After Military Coup

but he has chosen to disregard a scandal involving super PAC contributions in his support.

France and EU Take a Stand: Francis Suarez, the mayor of Miami, is vying for the Republican presidential nomination, but he has chosen to disregard a scandal involving super PAC contributions in his support.

The military in #Niger has detained the democratically elected President Bazoum and proclaimed a coup d’état, which is extremely disturbing news. Niger has a history of military coups, all of which have set the country back. Peace is essential for sustainable development: https://t.co/91zLsTzV4X

Tuesday, the complaint was submitted to the Federal Election Commission by the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Centre. Allegedly, the defunct political action committee America for Everyone utilised the artificial flower retailer PassionForest, LLC (doing business as SOS America) to conceal the identities of its true financiers.

According to the FEC, this is the largest donation the super PAC has ever received. Amazon.com’s seller information purportedly included a Shenzhen, China, postal code, and the Campaign Legal Centre asserts that the fraudulent flower shop submitted a trademark registration with a Chinese address. The group believes that this tactic was employed to conceal illegal international contributions.

One observer described the harsh realities of modern politics as “throwing everything against the wall to see what sticks.”

According to the case summary, neither SOS America PAC nor Mayer are defendants. Chapin Fay, spokesman for the SOS America PAC, stated, “This is nothing more than a political attack, and it will be seen for what it is.”

The likelihood of Suarez obtaining the Republican nomination in 2024 is low. In a congested field that includes two other Floridians, former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the mayor is one of the lesser-known candidates.
