Jamshedpur: Leading B-school XLRI Jamshedpur is going to host INSPIRUS, a Women Roundtable on success stories of women in business, on August 4.
The XLRI PGDM (GM) batch of 2022-23 would play host to the virtual event. Officials of XLRI said the pandemic has taken one step ahead in terms of connecting with each other online.
INSPIRUS is going to be a virtual event as well and the theme for the conclave is “Celebrating Success and Hardships of Women in Businesses”.
The Women Roundtable will be moderated by Prof Tina K Stephen who is a Faculty of Law at XLRI Jamshedpur and has work experience both in India and abroad.
Prof Tina specializes in and holds a PhD in Labour Law. Her areas of expertise include teaching, consulting and corporate training in various subjects like Contract Labour Laws, Industrial Relations Laws, Labours Laws for Women etc. She has also conducted training programs for several companies including Tata Steel, Cipla, Larsen and Toubro Ltd, Asian Paints etc.
Further, she is a proficient published writer whose writings have appeared in both national as well as international journals.
Female entrepreneurs today experience unique challenges despite constantly changing times. These challenges often range from lack of equal opportunities professionally to overcoming social taboos personally.
This panel comprises four such women leaders from diverse industries who will share their inspirational success stories.
The panelists include Aradhana Khaitan, founder and managing director of Manya Education Pvt. Ltd., followed by Anuranjita Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO, We-Ace, MasterChef Shipra Khanna, Indian Celebrity Chef and Shalini Pillay, Office Managing Partner Bangalore and India Leader Global Capability Centres, KPMG India.
“We, at XLRI, would like to celebrate the success stories of these heroes together and share not only their journey but inspire young girls who look up to them and to the female professionals facing these hardships as them.
The roundtable is an initiative to drive the idea that women mean business and are great leaders of the future, who, when given the right opportunity will shape the world to make it better,” said an official.
