Joanne Epps Husband: Joan A. Epps, who regrettably passed away on September 19, 2023, was a renowned Temple University professor of law.

She held significant positions at the university, such as executive vice president and provost. Epps was renowned for his legal expertise, particularly in the areas of criminal procedure, evidence, and trial advocacy.

She performed a significant role in educating future attorneys. All first-year law students at Temple were required to take her extremely essential class, Litigation Fundamentals.

In addition, she helped establish the Stephen and Sandra Sheller Center for Social Justice at Temple Law School. This center was created to demonstrate to students the various ways in which attorneys ensure that everyone has access to equitable justice.

The spouse of JoAnne Epps is a man named L. Harrison Jay. He is employed in the office of community relations at Temple University. He is terribly saddened by her passing away.

From 1985 to 1989, Epps was also a professor at Temple Law School. He was the associate dean for academic affairs from 1989 to 2008. Prior to joining Temple, Epps served as an assistant United States attorney in Philadelphia and as an assistant city attorney for the City of Los Angeles.
