Khloé Kardashian Unveils Her Battle with Insecurities: Khloé Kardashian does not hold back her opinions. On episode 9 of the Hulu reality series The Kardashians, Khloé, 39, discusses the insecurities she claims to have experienced while in the public eye.

“Society gave me insecurities,” she tells Kourtney Kardashian Barker, 44, and Kylie Jenner, 25, during a Thursday visit to Kourtney’s home in the new episode.

The youngest Kardashian sister admits that she acquired all of her insecurities from other people during her early days in the public eye. When I was obese and wearing a body-con dress, I possessed the most self-assurance.

And while Kourtney is quick to point out that she did not consider Khloé to be “chubby,” Khloé describes how it felt to be aggressively mocked by the press during her first public appearances.

“I’ve been torn apart ever since I appeared on television,” she confesses, adding that she “didn’t look like [my] sisters, so it’s not acceptable.”

Khloé acknowledges altering her appearance in response to public criticism, including that of her mother, Kris Jenner, who, according to Khloé, made disparaging remarks about her needing a nose operation when she was nine years old.

“Despite having a nose job, I’m still continually bullied by others. Which one is it then?”

Khloé ultimately understood, “You have to do things for yourself.”

Khloé, who was 23 years old when Keeping Up with the Kardashians debuted on E!, notes that it is unfair to place so much strain on people while they are growing up in front of a camera, changing, and evolving. I believe we are all attempting to do the best we can.

Khloé is adamant about shielding her children, nieces, and nephews from the same scrutiny she and her siblings endured. Khloé and Tristan Thompson have a 5-year-old daughter, True Thompson, and a 1-year-old son, Tatum.

She explains, “I don’t want our children to have those insecurities.”

This is not the first time Khloé has discussed the impact of hurtful comments on her self-esteem.
