Overnight Shooting Spree in New York City: On Thursday night, a man was shot and killed in the Bronx, and three adolescents were injured in separate shootings on Staten Island. A 28-year-old man was shot in the front yard of a residence on East 223rd Street near Carpenter Avenue in the Olinville neighbourhood of the Bronx, according to police reports.

When he arrived at Jacobi Medical Centre, he was pronounced deceased. No arrests have been made, and the cause of the offence is still being investigated. According to police, a 16-year-old was shot twice in Charlotte Gardens at 9:20 p.m., once in the back of the head and once in the back.

He was transferred to Harlem Hospital because his injuries were not life-threatening. Staten Island police reported that less than two hours later, two male adolescents were shot at the intersection of Broadway and Forest Avenue in West New Brighton.

The police report that a 16-year-old was shot in the leg and an 18-year-old was wounded in the right shoulder. Both patients have been transported to the Richmond University Medical Centre, where their prognoses are regarded as positive.

According to police, neither of the two teen shootings that occurred on Friday morning had obvious motives. The shootings have resumed days after a harrowing Fourth of July weekend, with the majority of the violence occurring in the Bronx.
