He leaves behind his loving partner James Messina of SC O-ring. She is survived by her daughter, Nichole (Travis) Batchler of Gaston, SC; stepdaughter, Danyelle Messina, Chattanooga, TN; and stepson Dade Messina of Chattanooga, TN.

Phillip’s legacy continues through his siblings: sisters, Debbie Bird and Rhonda (Tony) Russell, both of Perry, FL; and a brother, Dave (Jo) Smith of Fayetteville, TN. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren Tyler and Cynthia Batchler and many nieces and nephews.
