During a protest against the Central government over rising prices and unemployment, police detained a number of Congress members on Friday, including Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, and K C Venugopal. From parliament, the Congress MPs were marching towards the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Congress leader and former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat was also detained by police during the party’s protest.
