5 persons injured in Seattle parking lot shooting

According to the chief, the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the former King Donuts facility.

He stated that a community event was taking place in the area at the time of the gunfire. Diaz stated, “We have five victims; two are in critical condition and three appear stable.”

According to the chief, four victims were transported to a local hospital, while the fifth was treated and released at the scene.

This situation is “evolving,” according to the chief. We do not currently know what prompted the shooting or what sparked it.

No suspect descriptions have been released, but investigators believe at least two gunmen were responsible. Numerous gunshots were discharged. That much is assured. Diaz added, “Our gun violence reduction unit is currently investigating this matter.”

Seattle’s mayor, Bruce Harrell, referred to it as “the tragedy of today, with too many guns in the wrong places, in the wrong hands.”
