Shirley M. Weiser Obituary: Shirley passed away on July 30, 2021, a month before turning 90. Earl and Margaret Deibler welcomed her into the world on September 1, 1931, and she quickly established herself as a vital member of the Linglestown, Pennsylvania, community. In this essay, Shirley M. Weiser, a loyal, caring, and devout woman, is remembered.

Shirley discussed the value of family and religion in life. Everyone she met will always remember her for the love she shared with them. Her life was infused with grace, and she greeted each day with kindness and zeal.

As the patron saint of prayer and a devoted servant of God, Shirley earned the moniker “The Prayer Warrior” from her fellow churchgoers. Along with her sister, she cherished leading Sunday School sessions. She gave a lot of her time to the American Heart Association while also being somewhat active in her religion.

Mary Forney, Shirley’s sister, and her kids Michael (and Cheryl), Richard, Susan (and Matt), Donna (and Susan) Weiser, Weiser, and Miller are the ones left behind. She is survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren in addition to her husband and two children: Rita Yanoviak, Matthew Weiser (Danielle), Tara Daley (Jon), Kristen Rager (Aaron), Sarah Weiser, Preston Weiser (Courtney), Sarah Weiser, and Logan Weiser.

On Wednesday, August 4, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Shirley’s life will be remembered and celebrated at a viewing at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 N. Enola Drive, Enola, PA 17025.

A funeral service and burial will take place at Fort Indiantown Gap (60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003) on Thursday, August 5, at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley’s family has requested that donations be made to Speranza Animal Rescue.

Everyone who knew Shirley M. Weiser is devastated by her passing. However, her love, faith, and trust will live on in the memories of everyone who knew and loved her. When we think back on the wonderful experiences we shared with Shirley, it gives us comfort and inspiration.
