Star Johnny Hardwick’s Cause of death: The reason Johnny Hardwick of “King of the Hill” died is still unknown.
He was 64 years old when he died in August. At the time, he was found in a bathtub in his home in Austin, Texas.
The autopsy report that TMZ got says that the cause of his death cannot be determined because his body has gone through “extensive decompositional changes.”
According to the medical examiner, there were no signs of violence and a toxicology test showed a “presumptive positive test for cannabinoids.”
On the scene, drugs were found. But it was also impossible to say what kind of things they were.

When help came, the bathtub was still running with water, but Hardwick’s body was not submerged because the drain was open.
It was said that the Primetime Emmy winner weighed only 100 pounds when he died.
At first, Austin cops were called to his home to make sure he was comfortable.
Hardwick was declared dead at the scene, and police didn’t think there was any foul play.
“On Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, at approximately 5:10 pm, APD officers responded to a Check Welfare Urgent call in the 1800 Block of Alta Vista Avenue,” a statement from Austin PD read.
It went on to say, “When police arrived, they found a dead body. The person was later identified as John Michael Hardwick, DOB 12/31/1958.” This is not being looked into as a murder. The Medical Examiner’s Office will figure out what caused the death.
Hardwick did the voice of “Dale Gribble” on “King of the Hill” from 1997 to 2010.
He did voice work for 258 episodes of the animated show over the course of 13 seasons.
Mike Judge, the creator, wrote a moving Instagram post in August to honor Hardwick.
