What Happened To Odell Beckham Jr? Is OBJ Out of the Game?

At this juncture, it is unclear how or when the injury occurred. His exclusion was announced on the broadcast.

What Happened To Odell Beckham Jr: Fans of the Cleveland Browns have previously witnessed Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) suffer an injury against the Cincinnati Bengals. Although this injury does not appear to be as severe as the previous one, the Ravens receiver departing the game against the Bengals is déjà vu.

What Happened To Odell Beckham Jr?

After only one week of competition, the Ravens have already sustained a number of injuries, and now they must add Beckham Jr. to the list.

OBJ was ruled out for the remainder of the Ravens-Bengals game in the third quarter due to an ankle injury. This was shaping up to be one of the best Sunday afternoon contests.

Details of the Injury

At this juncture, it is unclear how or when the injury occurred. His exclusion was announced on the broadcast, and he was subsequently spotted on the sidelines wearing regular clothing instead of his football uniform.

Beckham had been dealing with an ankle injury prior to week 1, but he was able to participate against the Texans last week. There is a chance that he aggravated the initial injury.

A History of Injury Difficulties

Since his final 1,000-yard season in 2019 with the Browns, OBJ has never gone an entire season without suffering an injury. In week 5 of the 2020 season, during a game against the Bengals, he tore his ACL.

Following that, he endured a troubled 2021 campaign with the Browns, which ultimately led to his release. Despite injuring his ACL again, he joined the Rams and contributed to their Super Bowl victory against the Bengals.

In 2022, OBJ did not play for any team, and in the offseason he signed with the Ravens. Before leaving against the Bengals, he had caught three receptions for 29 yards. By improving to 2-0, the Ravens have set up a vital matchup with the Browns two weeks from now.
