Maro Itoje was born in Camden, North London, on October 28, 1994 to Nigerian parents Efe Itoje and Florence Itoje.
The full name of Maro Itoje is Oghenemaro Miles. He is a member of the Gallagher Premiership club Saracens.
The following year after signing his first professional contract with Saracens in 2012, he made his debut.
Following his selection to the England team before to the commencement of the 2016 Six Nations Championship, he swiftly garnered a considerable following from both Saracens and England enthusiasts, establishing himself as a popular figure among fans.
Itoje was the youngest member of the British & Irish Lions team that toured New Zealand in 2017 at the age of 22. During that season, Maro Itoje appeared in three Tests, resulting in a tie with the All Blacks.

Beno Obano, a loosehead prop for England and Bath, is Itoje’s cousin. Ollie Thorley, whose grandfather remarried a Nigerian woman who is the aunt of the Maro, is also Itoje’s cousin.
