1702 Stimulus Payment: Alaska is set to provide nearly 600,000 residents with a winter relief package, totaling $1,702 per eligible person, through the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) and an additional energy assistance payment. This aid combines a PFD payment of $1,403.83 with an extra $198.17, an increase of almost $400 compared to last year.

The distribution, split into two payments, aims to help Alaskans manage rising living costs during the tough winter season and to prepare for the holiday period. As Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum noted, these payments reflect Alaskans’ share in the state’s natural resources, continuing a 43-year legacy of supporting local communities.

Alaskans who qualify should get their next payment on November 21, 2024, as long as they stay in a “Eligible-Not Paid” state until at least November 13, 2024. People who were marked as “Eligible-Not Paid” on October 14 got their most recent payment on October 24.

Alaskans must meet certain requirements in order to get the $1,702 Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) and energy assistance check. They had to have lived in Alaska for at least 72 hours straight and kept their residency through 2023.

1704 Stimulus Payment Date: When Will Alaskans Receive Their Payment?

Applicants must not plan to leave the state after December 31, 2022, and they may not have claimed benefits or status from any other state or country.

In addition, people who have been convicted of two misdemeanors or felonies since January 1, 1997, cannot have been punished for any crime in 2023 or been jailed for a misdemeanor during that year. Following these rules will make sure that the relief payouts get to the right people.
