1702 Stimulus Payment Eligibility: The Alaska Department of Revenue says that people will get their share of the state’s Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) and a one-time payment of $1,702 to help with their energy bills. This payment lets certain Alaskans share in the benefits that come from the state’s natural resources.

Around 82% of Alaskans will receive this financial assistance, which is especially helpful as winter approaches, offering support before Thanksgiving and Christmas. Alaskans who filed electronically and requested direct deposit but are listed as “eligible-not paid” as of September 20, 2024, should receive their payments by Thursday, October 3.

To check your payment status, visit the State of Alaska Department of Revenue website and log into the myPFD portal. Keep in mind that the Department of Revenue will never ask you to change your password via email or text message.

The PFD fund is only open to people who will be living in Alaska from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. When they apply, they must also say that they plan to stay in the state permanently.
