1704 Stimulus Payment Date: As part of its plan to share the money it makes from its natural resources, Alaska is giving qualified residents a Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) of $1,704. This payment is meant to help Alaskans deal with rising living costs around the world. It includes a one-time energy relief payment that was passed by the state Department of Revenue to help people get through the tough fall and winter months.

Alaska’s harsh winters and remote position have made more people want to use energy and raised the cost of shipping and importing things.

Businesses in the state don’t have as many choices as they do in places like New York because there are only about 800,000 people living there. This makes goods more expensive in the state. Residents should get this check soon, but exact dates may change due to processing times and eligibility requirements.

Since Alaska is the fourth most expensive place to live in the country, the benefit is available to all Alaskans who lived there for the whole 2023 calendar year and didn’t leave for a long time except for military service or school.

In addition to the circumstances listed above, the PFD is also subject to other conditions. Some people who have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor might not be eligible, based on when they were sentenced.

For example, someone who was guilty of a felony or sentenced to prison for one in 2023 would not be able to run for office again. The same would be true for someone who was convicted of a misdemeanor in Alaska if they had been convicted of two or more misdemeanors or a felony since January 1, 1997.

1704 Stimulus Payment Date: When will you get?

Paychecks for Alaska’s Permanent Fund Dividend of $1,704 will all be sent out by Thursday, October 31, which is also Halloween. Direct deposit payments started on October 3, and the next round of payments is scheduled for Thursday, October 24.

Of the total $1,704, $298.17 is from the energy relief bonus, while the remaining $1,405.83 comes from the PFD itself. This payment is designed to help Alaskans manage rising costs, especially during the colder months.
