According to earlier reports, Americans may be eligible to receive a startling $8,700 stimulus check in June 2024 as a part of a program that will help millions of people by expanding the Child Tax Credit.

To assist low-income families, President Joe Biden recently approved a supplemental budget that will provide monthly payments of $350 per child up to $87,000 spread over six months, ending in June 2024.

It was stated that you could claim this amount as a single filer if your household’s annual income is less than $75,000.

Married couples filing jointly may be eligible to receive up to $197,999 in reimbursement if their combined annual income is $150,000 or less.

The number of eligible children living in the home determines how much is awarded; each child must have a current social security card and be listed on the family’s most recent tax return. In addition, they cannot be dependents of another tax filer and must be citizens of the United States or lawful foreign nationals.

According to the WGTC, the stimulus check is still wholly unconfirmed and unverified, so as of right now, no one can depend on the funds.

They have drawn comparisons between it and a reported $1,400,00 stimulus check that never materialized.

It’s crucial to hold off on spending the $8,700 stimulus check that you believe you will receive until the IRS or the government verifies that it is happening.
