Who qualifies to get paid?

Residents must have paid their taxes for the 2020 tax year, lived in California for at least half of 2020, and utilize an ITIN to be qualified for the $1,200 check-in 2024.

People who filed between January 1 and March 1 got their money after April 15. People who filed between March 2 and April 23 will get their money after May 1. People who filed after April 23 may have to wait longer for their money to be processed.
