CalWORKs October 2025 Benefits: Check Your Food Stamp Delivery Dates

CalWORKs October 2025 payments will be sent to eligible families’ EBT cards. Cash and food stamp benefits arrive based on county case numbers, helping families cover food, rent, and bills.

CalWORKs October 2025: California has a program called CalWORKs that helps families with little money. It gives cash so they can pay for rent electricity and other bills. The program works in all 58 counties.

The program helps parents learn new skills, find work, or attend school so they can earn more in the future. This is not just about giving money it tries to help families become more independent over time. Some counties also provide counseling, childcare help, and transportation assistance to make it easier for parents to work or study while receiving benefits.

Families who get CalWORKs often get CalFresh too. CalFresh helps them buy food so kids and adults have enough to eat. This way families don’t go hungry while paying for other things.

When will Families receive their Benefits?

CalWORKs gives money to families once every month. The money usually comes between the first and third day of the month. Families get the money on a card called an Electronic Benefits Transfer, or EBT card. CalFresh works in a similar way.

The exact day the benefits are added depends on the last number of the family’s case number in their county. This system makes sure that everyone gets their benefits on a set schedule and that stores can process the cards correctly.

Using the EBT card makes it safer cause only the person with the card can use the money. Families should check their case numbers and know when they get their benefits so they can plan the month and make sure kids have what they need in advance.
