Applying for CalFresh is easy and can be done online through the “Get CalFresh” website. After submitting your application, expect a call from your county within a few weeks to arrange an eligibility interview.

Once you’re approved, your EBT card should arrive in about ten days. If you prefer, you can apply by phone by contacting the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) at (866) 613-3777.

  • Case numbers ending in 4: Benefits added on October 4th

  • Case numbers ending in 6: Benefits added on October 6th
  • Case numbers ending in 7: Benefits added on October 7th
  • Case numbers ending in 8: Benefits added on October 8th
  • Case numbers ending in 9: Benefits added on October 9th
  • Case numbers ending in 0: Benefits added on October 10th
