EV Stimulus Payment: Discover How to Get a $2500 Tax Refund for Buying an Electric Vehicle

Despite the end of federal stimulus checks, some states continue to offer direct payments to residents to help them manage economic challenges and promote sustainable energy practices.

EV Stimulus Payment: While federal stimulus checks have stopped, some states still give out direct payments to citizens to help them deal with inflation and other financial difficulties.

These payments support sustainable energy practices like buying electric cars or installing clean energy solutions, in addition to providing financial relief.

The Clean Transportation Incentive Program in Delaware has been extended through April 30, 2025. Residents who purchase electric vehicles—including plug-in hybrids and battery-electric vehicles—will receive a $2,500 refund under this program.

With the program’s inception in 2015, approximately 5,500 refunds totalling $12.8 million have been issued. But this year, the program has eliminated incentives for cars that run on natural gas or propane in favour of concentrating only on electric vehicles.

You must first register as a “supplier” on the Division of Accounting eSupplier Portal to be eligible for a vehicle rebate from Delaware. EV Stimulus Payment: Georgia’s E-Bike rebate program

Residents who buy an e-bike this month in Atlanta can receive a $1,000 rebate. Proof of residency is required for the week-long sweepstakes, and applications will be accepted starting on June 16. Propel ATL spokesperson Rebecca Serna highlighted the city’s initiatives to improve street safety and accessibility for various forms of transportation.

According to the Atlanta Regional Commission, the $1 million initiative will bring 800–1,000 new e-bikes to the city, lowering its carbon footprint and improving low-income citizens’ access to jobs. A standard e-bike rebate of $1,500 and a cargo e-bike rebate of $2,000 are available to those making $54,000 or less annually, while higher earners can receive a $500 rebate for a standard e-bike and a $1,000 rebate for a cargo e-bike.
