Every claimant receives payments, usually once a month. Payouts in July will finally follow the normal SSA timetable following June, when many of the usual payment dates were altered.

Your date of birth, the kind of benefit you receive, and where you live all affect when your benefits are paid out. Often referred to as the Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) program, the monthly payments are meant to replace lost income brought on by things like old age, incapacity, or the loss of financial support originally given by a dead parent or spouse.
