Wisely Card Activation: Simple Steps to Activate Your New Card

To activate your Wisely debit card, you have to log in to myWisely or visit mywisely.com, choose 'Activate Card' follow the instructions, and set your PIN before using the card.

Wisely Card Activation: A Wisely Pay card cannot be used right away after you receive it. First, you need to complete the card activation and set up a PIN. Wisely provides more than one way to do this, so you can use the myWisely website, the mobile app, or the phone activation service. Before starting, keep the physical card with you because you may need to enter some of the information printed on it.

Reloadable card options

Wisely says reloadable cards can also be funded through bank transfers and mobile check deposits. Some features need identity verification first.

No minimum balance fees

The card does not allow overdrafts because you can only spend money available on the card. Wisely also says there are no minimum balance fees, monthly fees or annual fees. However, some transactions and certain card features can have fees, so users should check their Cardholder Agreement and fee list.

Purchases

Wisely cards can also be used for purchases where the card’s payment network is accepted. Wisely Pay offers Visa and Mastercard versions, depending on the card.

Direct deposit

Direct deposit is another useful feature. Wisely Pay members can find their account and routing numbers in the myWisely app or website and give those details to their employer for payroll deposits. Account numbers are different from the 16-digit card number. Eligible users can also opt in to receive qualifying direct deposits up to 2 days early, although early availability is not guaranteed.

Cash reloads

For cash reloads, Wisely says participating retailers can include tens of thousands of locations nationwide. Reload fees and transaction limits can apply depending on the location and method used.

App and website

Once your card is activated, you can manage many card features through the myWisely app or mywisely.com. This includes checking your balance, finding ATM and reload locations, managing money and viewing account information.
