Answer: Madras Regiment

Following the Battle of Assaye (1803), the Assaye Elephant device was approved as a special honor-badge for the 2nd, 4th, 8th, 10th, and 24th Madras Infantry. As a result, the Regiment claimed the Assaye Elephant as part of its Cap Badge.
