Marcus Allen is one of the few people on this list who has won the Heisman Trophy, a national college title, the NFL MVP award, the Super Bowl, and the Super Bowl MVP award. Allen made history with his great play in the 1983 playoffs, including running for 191 yards against the Washington Redskins, which was the then-Super Bowl record.
Allen is joined in this elite group by Roger Staubach and Jim Plunkett, both players who won the Heisman Trophy and led their teams to Super Bowl wins. His impressive stats include 3,022 runs for 12,243 yards on the ground and 5,411 yards catching. Because of his hard work, Allen was named to six Pro Bowls and won two titles as the league’s leading rusher. His legacy will live on in football history.
