Make your forecasts. As soon as the startlists are published, you will be able to predict the gold, silver, and bronze medal winners. Our computer has computed each athlete’s probability of winning based on their 30 most recent performances. Earn between 5 and 20 points, based on their likelihood of success. Athletes with a lower possibility of victory receive the most points, so will you take a chance or play it safe?

Points earn rewards

You will earn points for each athlete whose position on the podium you correctly predict. If you get them in the correct order, you’ll earn double points!

The more you participate, the more points you can earn to improve your position on the leaderboard and increase your chances of winning fabulous prizes, such as a VIP trip for two to the World Indoor Championships Glasgow 24 and signed merchandise and World Athletics goodie bags.

Proceed to the Predict the Podium website. Register for a free account with World Athletics. Set your username to be displayed on the leaderboard.

Predict as many as three medalists per event. The startlists will be published at the conclusion of the session from the previous day. As soon as the new startlists become available, you can begin making your predictions. Predictions can be made until 20 minutes before each final’s start time.

Predict the Podium is available for all events besides combined events and relays, so check back daily to make your predictions.
