The iQOO Z8 is expected to go on sale in China in the first few days of September, according to the source Panda is Bald. Notably, the device’s top-tier model is anticipated to give consumers 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. For comparison, the Z7, which was the previous model and was unveiled in China earlier this year, had a maximum configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
Important details regarding the Z8’s colour options were also provided by the tipper. The phone will apparently be available in three colours: black, blue, and Isle of Man (green). The orange colour option that was present on the Z7 series is anticipated to be replaced by the third colour option.
Other rumours claim that the 6.64-inch IPS LCD screen on the iQOO Z8 will have a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be secured by a side-facing fingerprint scanner and utilise the Android 13.0-based OriginOS operating system.
The Dimensity 8200 processor and 12GB of RAM for the iQOO Z8 have recently been discovered on Geekbench. A 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities is probably inside. The device will sport a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS capability for photography. The Z8’s other specifications have not yet been disclosed.
