That is why a provision of 30 percent additional admission has been made in the first round itself in the seats of the category. For seat allotment in performance-based programmes, 50% weightage will be given from CUET score and 50% weightage from performance test score. For admission under ECA and Sports Supernumerary Quota, 25% CUET score and 75% weightage will be given to Certificate and Trial.

Admission process will be in three phases
The admission process in DU will be in three phases. Head of Admission Branch Prof. Hanit Gandhi said that under the first phase, for CSAS-2022, a one-time application fee of Rs 100 for SC, ST and PWBD category applicants and Rs 250 for general, OBC non-creamy, EWS category will have to be paid which will not be refunded.

First stage
Interested candidates have to apply through CSAS-2022. The application number of CUET (UG)-2022 will be mandatory to apply. The personal details such as name, photograph and signature etc. submitted by the applicant during CUET (UG)-2022 will be automatically integrated in CSAS-2022.
Candidates should be careful in filling their personal details, categories, sub-categories, caste information as it is not subject to change.

All communication with DU will be done on the e-mail ID given on the portal. Candidates will also have to fill the marks of all the subjects in which they have passed class 12th.
Candidates should be careful while filling the 12th marks because if there is a merit tie then these marks will prove to be important.

Second stage

The second phase will start after the declaration of CUET result. In this candidates have to select their program and college combination and fill the preferences. The order of selection of course and college combination will also determine the order of preference for allotment of seats. Therefore, the candidate should carefully prioritize the program and college combinations in order of preference.
-Candidates will have to confirm the order of preference for Program and College combinations by clicking ‘Submit’ on or before the last day of preference filling phase. Change of program and college combination merit list will not be allowed after the deadline.

Third step

– Once a seat is allotted in a particular round, the candidate has to ‘accept’ the seat allotted to him/her before the last date/time for the given allotment round. The provision for acceptance of a particular allotted seat will be valid only for the round in which the seat was allotted. The allotted seat will not be treated as non-acceptance and the allotted seat will be treated as cancelled. The candidate will no longer be able to participate in the subsequent rounds of CSAS-2022.
-If a candidate is offered multiple seats in a particular round, he/she will have to accept only one seat. Once the candidate accepts the allotted seat, the concerned college will check the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate. After verification, the college will ‘accept’ or ‘reject’ the seat of the candidate. Once the college is approved, the candidate has to pay the ‘admission fee’. Successful remittance of admission fee will confirm the provisional admission of the candidate to the allotted college and program.

Information about vacant seats will also be available

DU may declare multiple allotment rounds depending on the availability of seats vacant due to rejection, cancellation and withdrawal of the candidate. The admissions website (admission.uod.ac.in, ) before each allotment round will give information about the vacant seats. All the applied candidates will be eligible for all the allotment rounds except those applicants whose allotted seat admission has been canceled due to any reason. University has also made such provision through which applicants can answer any query raised by the college during approval.

There is also a provision of entry in the middle

DU has also made provision of mid-day admission for the candidates who failed to apply for CSAS-2022 due to any reason within the stipulated time. Such candidates can participate in CSAS-2022 by paying Rs 1000 as mid-entry fee. However, the mid can be considered for admission only if all those candidates who have had seat allotment have already applied and were allotted qualifying marks more than the minimum declared score. Mid-entry admission will not be allowed for performance-based programs like (B.A. B.A. Hons Music, B.Sc. Physical Education, Health Education & Sports), ECA and Sports Supernumerary quota.
