SelectHealth NationsBenefits Card Activation Made Easy: Login Steps for 2026

Activate your SelectHealth NationsBenefits card online in 2026, check your benefit balance, view eligible products, and manage your healthcare benefits through the MyBenefits portal.

SelectHealth NationsBenefits Card Activation: Managing health benefits can be easier when you know where to activate your card and check your available funds. Select Health Medicare works with NationsBenefits to provide the Benefits Mastercard® Prepaid Card, also called the Flex Card. Depending on the plan, members may get funds for over-the-counter products, wellness services, healthy food, utilities, hearing or dental needs, and other approved benefits.

The card is not a normal credit card. It works as a prepaid benefits card, so purchases are paid from the allowance given under your health plan. Your exact benefits can be different based on the Select Health plan you have.

What can you get with the SelectHealth Flex Card?

The Flex Card can be used for approved items and services. One common benefit is the OTC allowance, which can cover things such as pain relievers, vitamins, toothpaste, bandages, lotion, eye drops and other health products. Some plans also include Wellness Your Way, Healthy Living rewards, grocery benefits, utility help, Silver&Fit and Flex Your Way benefits.

Some plans offer food and produce benefits at eligible Kroger-affiliated stores. Certain Dual plans may also include a monthly utility allowance. These extra benefits depend on the member’s plan and eligibility.

How to Activate Your SelectHealth NationsBenefits Card

Activating the card is simple. There are two main ways to do it.

  • Open SelectHealth.NationsBenefits.com/Activate and log in to your personalized MyBenefits portal. You can use the portal to activate and manage your card.
  • You can also call 833-878-0232 (TTY: 711) if you need help with activation. Select Health lists this number for Flex Card support.

After activation

Members can log in online or use the Benefits Pro app to manage their benefits. The portal lets you check balances and expiration dates, view transaction history, find approved stores, check eligible products, order OTC items and track orders. Members may also submit eligible reimbursement requests through the portal.

Chime Card Activation: How to Activate Your Credit or Debit Card

How to Use and Manage the Card

When paying at an approved store, swipe the Flex Card and choose “credit” when the machine asks for the payment type. Choosing debit can cause the transaction to be declined. The card cannot be used at an ATM and it does not provide cash back. Select Health also says purchases should be made at the store’s main checkout instead of the pharmacy counter.

Not enough Balance

If your balance is not enough to pay for the full purchase, you can pay the remaining amount with another payment method. Approved OTC items can also be ordered online through SelectHealth.NationsBenefits.com or the Benefits Pro app.

Unused allowances

Unused monthly or yearly allowances generally do not roll over into the next period. Members should check their account regularly and use benefits before they expire.

Card declined

If the card is declined, call 833-878-0232 (TTY: 711) and provide the purchase date. A Member Experience Advisor can check the reason for the declined transaction. For a lost or stolen card, the same NationsBenefits number can be used for help.
