NTRUHS Admission: 14 September 2022 is the last date for NTR University of Health Sciences Admission 2022 for PG courses. Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the prior Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, founded the Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao University of Health Sciences in Vijayawada in 1986. He also succeeded as the institution’s first chancellor. The University Grants Commission has authorized it (UGC). The Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Dental Council of India (DCI) both accredit Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao University of Health Sciences in Vijayawada.
The institution’s main goals included developing a unified syllabus across all disciplines and raising the bar for medical education. The NTRUHS headquarters first combined a campus with the Siddhartha Medical College facility, and the university operated there until March 2002. However, it moved into its current structure in April 2002.

Vijayawada’s Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences provides programmes at the UG, PG, doctorate, and superspecialty levels. Enrollment in the M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S., B.N.Y.S., and B.U.M.S. courses at NTRUHS Vijayawada is dependent on the NEET UG qualifying test. Depending on the results of the entrance examination, students are admitted to various undergraduate programmes.
Enrollment in the M.D.S., P.G.D., and M.D. programmes at NTRUHS Vijayawada is granted based on applicants’ success in the entrance test. The M.Sc. and M.P.T. programmes do not require an entrance examination. Applicants must pass the National Eligibility + Entrance Test for Super Specialty to be considered for D.M. and M.Ch (NEET SS). Selected applicants must attend online counseling.
Applicants must possess a postgraduate degree in the discipline of medical sciences from an accredited institution to be accepted into doctorate programmes at NTRUHS. Following documentation authentication and submission of the required fee, enrollment is provided at NTRUHS.
NTR university provides a number of other undergraduate degrees in the fields of nursing, physiotherapy, ayurveda, and homeopathy in complement to the MBBS and BDS programmes. The basic requirements for admission to all bachelor’s programmes include passing percentage scores in English as a mandatory discipline and minimum grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology, Botany, and Mathematics in various pairings. The applicant’s entrance examination score serves as the criterion for acceptance.

NTRUHS offers a number of postgraduate programmes in paramedical and nursing fields. Candidates must have earned at least a 55% grade point average in B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Hons. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in order to be considered for the M.Sc. Nursing programme. The applicant for the MPH programme must have received a graduation grade of at least 50 in any stream. The chosen applicants will be determined by their performance in the entrance exam. For the MPT programme, candidates must hold a BPT degree or an equivalent certificate from an accredited university in addition to the required internship.
