GATE 2023 Admit Card Updates: GATE Hall Ticket on January 9 @ iitkgp.ac.in

Candidates who have applied for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) examination will be able to download their admit cards by going to the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

GATE 2023 Admit Card Updates: The Indian Institutes of Technology, Kanpur, has delayed the releasing date of the GATE 2023 admission card. According to the official website for GATE 2023, the GATE 2023 admit card will be distributed on January 9, 2023.

Candidates who have applied for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) examination will be able to download their admit cards by going to the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The GATE exam will be held from February 4th to February 12th, 2023. The papers will be held on the following dates: February 4, February 5, February 11, and February 12, 2023. On all days, the exam will be held in two shifts. The first will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

When will the GATE 2023 results be available?

The results of GATE 2023 will be announced on March 16, 2023. From March 21, 2023, the scorecard will be available for download. The results will be available at gate.iitk.ac.in, the official website.

The GATE 2023 exam is being administered in over 200 cities across India, divided into eight zones. IISc Bangalore zone has 36 cities, IIT Bombay zone has 37 cities, IIT Delhi zone has 18 cities, IIT Guwahati zone has 22 cities, IIT Kanpur zone has 15 cities, and IIT Kharagpur zone has 27 cities. The IIT Madras zone has 42 cities and the IIT Roorkee zone has 21 cities.

However, due to operational issues, the Ambajogai under the IIT Bombay zone was cancelled.

GATE 2023 was previously scheduled to be held in eight international cities. Seven of them, however, withdrew due to operational reasons: Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Male (Maldives), Port Louis (Mauritius), Singapore (Singapore), and Thimphu (Bhutan).

Updates on the GATE 2023 Admit Card

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai (IIT Madras), and Roorkee administer GATE. IIT Kanpur is hosting the GATE 2023 exam.

For admission to MTech and MSc programmes in engineering, technology, and architecture, the GATE exam is administered. GATE scores are used during recruitment in some PSUs. Candidates are shortlisted for direct interviews or group discussions based on their GATE scores.

Check these details on the Admit Card

  • 1 The candidate’s name.
  • 2 Paper code registration no. 3 gate 2023.
  • 4 Examining Center Code.
  • 5 The name and address of the testing facility.
  • 6 Examination date and time.
  • 7 Exam time.
  • 8 The candidate’s photograph and signature.
  • 9 Signature of GATE’s organising chairman.
  • 10. Instructions for the examination day.

After downloading the GATE 2023 admit card, candidates are advised to keep a copy of the admit card until the admission process is completed.

Students must bring a valid photo ID proof along with their admit card when taking the GATE 2023 exam. Passport / Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Number / PAN Card / Valid College ID / Employee ID / Driving License are some examples.

February 4: CS (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.); AR, ME (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
February 5: EE, ES, XH in the morning (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.); BM, CY, EC in the afternoon (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)

February 11: GG, IN, MA, PE, XE, XL in the morning (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.); AE, AG, BT, CH, EY, GE, MT, NM, PH, PI, TF in the afternoon (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.).

February 12: CE1, ST (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.); CE2, MN (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.).

Follow these steps to download your GATE 2023 admit card.

  • Step 1: First, go to the official website iitkgp.ac.in.
  • Step 2: On the home page, click the “GATE 2023 Admit Card” link.
  • Step 3: A login option will appear on the screen.
  • Step 4: Provide your Enrollment ID and Password.
  • Step 5: Now click the “Submit” button.
  • Step 6: Your admit card should be in front of you.
  • Step 7: Download it.
  • Step 8: Remember to print a copy for future reference.
