GATE answer key 2023: Update related to answer key, result and cut off

Tomorrow, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) response sheet will be followed by the exam’s answer key. The answer key will be available for download at gate.iitk.ac.in. You may object to a particular question of the answer key if you are dissatisfied with it. Candidates will have the opportunity to object to the answer key from February 22 to February 25. We are pleased to inform you that the GATE result will be announced on March 16. On March 21, candidates will be able to download their scorecard following the release of the results. The IIT Kanpur administered this examination on February 4, 5, 11, and 12.

This year, there was an increase in the number of individuals taking the GATE exam. This time, GATE recorded an attendance record of 77%, which is 10% higher than the previous year. This year, according to the director of IIT Kanpur, 6.8 million candidates registered for GATE 2023.

GATE is administered for admission to MTech and MSc engineering, technology, and architecture programmes. In some PSUs, the GATE score is considered during the hiring process. Candidates are shortlisted for direct interviews or group discussions based on their GATE scores.
