G Hannelius Biography: American Genevieve Knight Hannelius, better known by her stage name G Hannelius, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 22, 1998. Her acting and singing career began in 2009 when she starred in the television series “Surviving Suburbia.” But in 2012, she rose to fame for her part in the Disney Channel sitcom “Dog with a Blog.” She has had recurring parts in other Disney Channel shows like “Good Luck Charlie” and “Sonny with a Chance.”

American Genevieve Knight Hannelius, better known by her stage name G Hannelius, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 22, 1998. She sings and acts as an actress. When she was nine years old, her family moved to Los Angeles so she could pursue acting. Hannelius acted in a number of stage productions prior to her television debut, such as “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” and “Madeline’s Rescue” in 2009. In the 2009 television series “Surviving Suburbia,” Hannelius made her on-screen debut as Courtney Patterson.

Career

2009 saw Hannelius cast as Dakota Condor in a recurring role on the Disney Channel original series “Sonny with a Chance.” She also had a recurring role as Jo Keener in the television series “Good Luck Charlie.” Additionally, she had a cameo in “Hannah Montana.” Her other well-known performances include that of Emily Pearson in the 2010 Disney Channel original movie “Den Brother” and Rosebud’s voice in “Spooky Buddies.”

For the latter, Hannelius was given a “Young Artist Award,” and she went on to play the same part in other follow-ups, including “Treasure Buddies” and “Super Buddies.” 2012 saw Hannelius receive her big break as Avery Jennings, the main character in the Disney Channel sitcom “Dog with a Blog.” The program continued through 2015. Hannelius voiced a character in the television series “Sofia the First” and made a cameo appearance as Mad Mack on the Disney Channel series “Jessie” in 2014.

Hannelius also starred in Disney and the 2017 Netflix series “American Vandal.” In addition, she owns other companies. She launched the G Polish nail polish line following the success of her beauty-tech venture, Make Me Nails.
