When Salinas was fifteen, he ran into Quintanilla, who asked him to try out for a part in his band’s next music video. August 2009 saw the release of his first studio album, “Yo Soy.” He changed his name to “P.W.” two years later, claiming it was an evolution of Pee Wee. With his incredible dance moves in the music video for his 2011 debut single as P.W., “Wanna Be Yours,” the singer demonstrated to fans how much he had changed.
