His $16 million net worth is due to the many performances he has given, the sales of his books, and his time spent on the radio. The fact that his greatest television hits aired for multiple seasons increased his earnings potential over time.

Controversy Relating to Hulk Hogan

A few days before the inaugural WrestleMania, Belzer convinced professional wrestler Hulk Hogan to perform one of his signature moves on his talk show “Hot Properties.” Hogan immediately applied a front chin-lock to the actor, and Belzer passed out. Belzer was recently released from jail, where he sustained a concussion and a head injury from falling to the floor. As a result, Belzer and Hogan engaged in a legal dispute, which they eventually settled out of court for $5 million.
