Woozi Biography: A member of the boy band Seventeen, South Korean vocalist, songwriter, and record producer Woozi is also a member of the group. On November 22, 1996, he was given the name Lee Ji-hoon in Busan, a port city located in South Korea. He initiated his classical music education during his youth, honing his skills in clarinet and band instruments. Following his affiliation with Pledis Entertainment, Woozi began to appear in music videos for various groups, such as Orange Caramel, Hello Venus, and NU’EST. Woozi achieved the unprecedented feat of becoming the youngest artist to win the Best Producer category at the 6th Asia Artist Awards in 2021. Subsequently, in 2022, he issued “Ruby,” his debut mixtape. The mixtape featured his very first track composed solely in English; it peaked at number one on the iTunes charts in more than seventeen countries, including the Philippines, Chile, and Mexico.
