The evaluation will be done through the home evaluation process. It has been told that detailed instructions will be issued soon by the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education regarding the home evaluation process.

In such a situation, if the assessment work is completed in 20 days, the results of the 10th and 12th class may be released in May 2020. Due to the extension of lockdown till May 3, a group of teachers of higher secondary classes has written to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan to cancel the remaining board examination papers of students of class 10th and 12th of Madhya Pradesh board and allow internal evaluation conducted for the remaining papers.

Teachers have raised this demand keeping in mind the tension of the students at present due to nationwide lockdown. Teachers claim that there are many students who come to Bhopal and Indore from far-flung districts to appear for the exam and it is not possible for them to get any transportation if the remaining examinations are to be held later.
