AMU students receive fellowship for research in US

Prof Mohammad Tabish extended gratitude to Dr Imran Ahmad, Chairman, Education Committee, AMUAA-GC for providing the students with the opportunity.

Five MSc (Biochemistry) students from the Faculty of Life Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have been awarded international fellowships to do research in USA based laboratories for a period of two-months.

“While Anam Usmani, Ifrah Farid, Orooba Asim and Sidra Hasan were awarded the fellowship by the AMU Alimni Association of Greater Chicago (AMUAA-GC); Faisal Jamal received the Khorana Fellowship,” said Prof Mohammad Tabish, Chairperson, Department of Biochemistry (Life Sciences).

He extended gratitude to Dr Imran Ahmad, Chairman, Education Committee, AMUAA-GC for providing the students with the opportunity.
