Prof Rashid Umar, faculty member, Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been awarded the National Award for Excellence in Ground Water Science for 2019.
It is given by the Indian National Chapter of International Association of Hydrogeologists (INC-IAH) every year. The objective of the award is to honour ground water professionals for their outstanding contribution in Indian Hydrogeology.
