After dispersing the funds, the CM will also address a public assembly in Kovvur.

“We have spent Rs.14,912.43 crores on ‘Jagananna Vidya Deevena’ and ‘Jagananna Vasathi Deevena’ over the past four years, including the release of unpaid dues from the regime of Chandrababu Naidu,” stated education minister Botcha Satyanarayana. He stated that the state government introduced ‘Jagananna Vidya Deevena’ with the intention of providing poor students with access to higher education.

According to him, the government has been reimbursing the total fee directly into the bank accounts of the mothers of students enrolled in ITI, Polytechnic, degree, engineering, medicine, and other courses, without regard to the number of eligible children in a family.

The state government is providing annual financial aid in two installments of Rs 20,000 to students enrolled in degree programmes, engineering, and medicine; Rs 15,000 to Polytechnic students; and Rs 10,000 to ITI students.
