This was called Gandhian thinking and research-driven policy. This is because the basic history of Indian education is rooted in the folk traditions and languages that the New Education Policy presents. Addressing the students at the end in an auditorium, he said that there are three important things in education, namely study-centred, teaching-centred and enjoyable education.
