A statement from the board indicates that the Class 10-12 supplementary examinations will commence on July 10 and conclude on July 14. The supplemental examinations are for students who failed one or two subjects on the final exam.
The first exam for Grades 9-12 will be administered between October 3 and 12, 2024, while the preliminary exams will be administered between January 29 and February 7, 2024. On February 9, the board will administer a talent search examination for Class 9 students. The practical examinations for students in the 12th grade science stream will be administered from February 19-27, 2024.
The initial academic year will run from June 5 to November 8, 2024. The total number of instructional days in the first term will be 124. The Diwali holidays will commence on November 11 and end on November 29. The second academic year will commence on November 30 and conclude on May 5, 2024. In the second term, there will be 127 total instructional days. The 35-day summer vacation will commence on May 6 and end on June 9 of 2024. There will be 19 total public holidays during 2023-24. The 2024-2025 school year will commence on June 10, 2024.
