The head of the hostel management committee visited the mentioned room after receiving reports that the smell of non-vegetarian food and alcohol was coming from one of the hostel’s rooms. Joshi claimed that following the exposé, the student fled the dorm, and the committee head had his room shut. Joshi stated, “We have expelled the student and cancelled his admission.”

According to sources, the university has not reported the student to the police but has requested an internal investigation into how visitors who are not students are permitted to enter the dormitory grounds.

According to sources, the dormitory management committee will look into this situation and report its findings to the university’s administration. After this occurrence, the university’s standards are probably going to get harsher. However, reports claim that this is not the first instance in which the university administration has discovered instances of alcohol drinking on its hostel site.
