The Sir Syed Academy, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing an international conference on “Sir Syed as Forerunner of Modern Sirah Writings” on March 21, 2023.
Prof Ali Mohammad Naqvi, Director of the Academy said that AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tariq Mansoor, Vice-Chancellor will preside over the inaugural session while Prof. Aquil Ahmad, Director, NCPUL, will be the chief guest.

Prof Naqvi added that the 7th Volume of the Maqalat-e-Sir Syed (as a part of the Collected Work of Sir Syed), comprising the classic book on Sirah, Khutbaat-e-Ahmadia, written by Sir Syed in response to the book , Life of Mohammad, written by Sir William Muir, will be released by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tariq Mansoor.
