On September 17, 2022, the CBSE board also permitted private students to enrol for the CBSE board exams 2023. In addition to the annual exam, it was announced that the CBSE board exam 2023 for private students would be held in February, March, or April.
The PIB Fact Check warns students that a bogus CBSE website has asked Class 10, 12 pupils to submit registration fees for the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2023.
“Students are being asked to pay a registration fee on a fraudulent website (https://cbsegovt.com) in order to take board exams,” the PIB tweeted from its official account.
Typically, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) requires schools to submit a list of candidates (LOC) for the Class 10, 12 board examinations 2022-23. This year, the board requested that schools submit student lists for the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exam 2023 via the e-pariksha link provided on the CBSE website (cbse.gov.in).

The PIB notified students that “cbsegovt.com” is not affiliated with the official CBSE website and explained that http://cbse.gov.in is the official website of the CBSE Board.
